Terms of service.

These terms describe use of the leanctx.com website and services offered by Thinkery AG. A separately agreed contract, order or service-specific terms take precedence for the matters they cover. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

The rights granted for software are determined by the licence distributed with that software. Visiting this website or using the open-source core does not create a paid subscription or grant access to a hosted service.

The LeanCTX core is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Use, modification and redistribution of that code are governed by the licence and its notices. These website terms do not add restrictions to rights already granted by that licence.

The SDK is separately licensed. Its development and evaluation permissions do not automatically include every commercial production, embedding, OEM or redistribution use. Check the SDK licensing information and the licence for your selected version. A service agreement does not automatically grant SDK rights.

Use the website and any hosted service lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service, impersonate others or submit content you are not entitled to process. These service-use rules are separate from the open-source software licence.

You are responsible for the sources, permissions, commands, model providers and integrations you configure. Review outputs before relying on them. Compact context can omit information; retrieval, recovery and filtering have documented limits. LeanCTX is not a guarantee that a model's output is correct, complete or free of sensitive information.

Keep account credentials secure and notify us if you believe an account or service is being misused.

For any commercial service, the applicable offer or agreement defines availability, charges, renewal, cancellation, data handling and support. A feature shown in a roadmap or target architecture is not a service commitment. A support response time or uptime commitment applies only when expressly agreed.

Voluntary contributions support development. They do not purchase product features, SDK licences, priority support or a delivery date. The checkout identifies the amount, currency and whether a contribution recurs. Use the payment provider's management options or contact us about an existing contribution.

You retain your rights in content you submit. We process service data as described in the privacy policy and any applicable agreement.

The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available” except where an applicable agreement or mandatory law provides otherwise. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every environment, or a particular cost, quality or performance result.

The open-source core's warranty terms are set out in its licence. SDK and commercial warranty commitments, if any, are set out in their applicable licences or agreements.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data, profit or business opportunity, interruption and losses arising from third-party services or AI-generated output.

No exclusion applies where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. A specific agreement and the applicable software licence govern their respective subject matter. Maintain appropriate backups and review changes before using them in production.

The LeanCTX name, logos and website assets are subject to their respective intellectual-property rights. An open-source licence does not itself grant trademark rights. Do not imply official endorsement or affiliation without permission. Approved assets and usage guidance are available in the press kit.

External AI providers, package registries, payment platforms and other connected services have their own terms. Their operation and availability are outside our control.

Send security reports to hello@leanctx.com. Include the affected version, a description and a safe reproduction where possible. Avoid publicly disclosing credentials, private source data or an exploitable issue while it is being assessed.

These terms may be revised as the website and services evolve. The current revision date is shown above. Changes to a separately agreed service follow that agreement and applicable law.

Swiss law applies, subject to mandatory applicable protections. Any jurisdiction provision in a separate agreement remains subject to mandatory law. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
